To me, dressing for school is the only thing that keeps me from going insane over the course of the year. It’s all about being cute, comfortable, and covered up as much as you can even though it may be a scorching 100 degrees outside when you first go back. I hate wearing lazy clothes to school because the better I look, the better I feel- running shorts and a big t-shirt make me just want to curl up and fall asleep… something I probably shouldn’t be doing in the middle of class, despite how much I may want to. Every week, I’ll be posting a few outfits from that week, so keep your eye out for more constant posts 🙂 PLUS!!! I’m going to be starting an Etsy to sell clothes and jewelry that I make and repurpose! I will upload that link as soon as it happens, thanks you all for your constant support!
The biggest problem I come across when I’m dressing for school is finding something to wear over my summer tank tops that won’t make me have a heat stroke… This suede cardigan/jacket/shall type garment was a gift sent from heaven. AND ONLY $10!!! It adds so much more character to an outfit. I always feel so lucky when I find cool pieces like this amongst cluttered clearance racks in Forever 21. I added some necklaces, sandals, and high-waisted shorts to add to the boho feel of this outfit!
tank – PINK
jacket – forever 21
neckalces – world market and forever 21
shorts – DIY
sandals – local boutique
This outfit is pulled together through the details in each of the pieces. The texture and pattern of the shirt, the leather trim on the flowy shorts, and the bright all-white Converse makes this black and white ensemble a super easy yet chic look. (add some fun, bright lipstick to add some fun to the look)
shirt – brandy melville
shorts – H&M
shoes – converse
All-white outfits are my thaanggggg. Monochromatic white looks can easily go wrong but with a lil peak of skin, playing with textures and patterns, and colored accessories you’ll show everybody how it’s done right!

boots – pacsun
necklaces – brandy melville, forever 21, handmade
