a collection of artwork

a gallery of my paintings and original artwork.

from chaos

in my mind, it’s always monsoon season. and i’ve always had the inclination to dance in the rain.

this painting was the beginning of my renewed relationship with art. a canvas had been gifted to me, with a small tear, which I didn’t mind. little did i know, this seemingly inconsequential and relatively small tear would impact my art so much.

but because of the tiny rip, i wasn’t held back by the fear of ruining or wasting a canvas. so I let myself paint, finding inspiration in the process, not tied to any result or need for perfection. blue brush strokes vaguely spelled out ‘chaos’, so I leaned further into that. the chaos of my mind, on canvas.

words flowed to me while painting, so I transcribed them on the painting. representing the constant thoughts that flow into my mind. sometimes overwhelming, other times inspiring. the duality of myself. in my mind it’s always monsoon season, but good thing i’ve always have the inclination to dance in the rain.
